Christmas Home Tour

Hi everyone & welcome to the Christmas home tour from The Rocky Way House! YEP, CHRISTMAS! Tis the season, fully upon us! I am notorious for decorating for christmas the second Remembrance Day is over, so as not to let myself down, I followed tradition 🙂 Enjoy some of the fun Christmas decorating that has been done so far and stay tuned into @jamiepuurk for more sharing on my Instagram! Christmas in our little house is my absolute favorite, aside from being able to spend time with family, it just feels so cozy and warm while the snow is blowing outside. Chalk Painting: Weekend Project

Another step towards re-doing my spare/guest room is complete. I used some time of the weekend to get my bedside tables completed. If you recall the mood board I created, you would have noticed that I picked out some cute white side tables. I had two perfectly good side tables and I could not justify buying new ones! Therefore, I took my first swing at chalk paint!

Design Boards

Hello friends hello!!

Popping in today because I finally got curtains ordered (and delivered) for my spare room which meant I put some of the finishing touches on my design board! I have been waiting on the Drew Barrymore curtains from Wal Mart to come back in stock for like over 7 months!! I was waiting and waiting. I wanted to go over design boards & how they can really help with finishing a room! Here we go!

The Comparison game.

Hi again! … I was having one of those weeks last week where I felt like nothing was going right and it just seemed like it was seeping into every part of my life. It is so easy to get caught up in the comparison game and it really can suck you in so deep.
